We are a local independent family run business established by John Turner in 1985, joined by his daughters Rebecca and Victoria. We offer a personal, professional and caring funeral planning service executed with dignity and compassion. Personal, Professional and Caring All funeral directors are different, so it’s important to choose somebody who is right for you. We will support you throughout the arrangements, on the day of the the funeral and beyond. We follow the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) code of practice and the Office of Fair Trading recommendations on funeral costing. From January 2022 JP Turner & Daughters made a pledge to plant a tree in memory of those we have had the honour of arranging a funeral of.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
