They inspect our premises and examine our staff before accepting us into membership. Our staff are licensed members of the British Institute of Funeral Directors which means that we must abide by the very stringent Code of Practice. Details of this code of practice can be provided to you upon request. By meeting the exacting criteria of both organisations, we are able to provide you with the protection you need based on our experience and years of service to the community. Our family is dedicated to serving you in your time of need and seeing that you are supported in your bereavement. We are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks per year and are always ready to assist you in your time of need. Our service does not only cover the local area – we can carry out funeral arrangements virtually anywhere in the U.K. We are also experienced in repatriations from overseas. Luke has passed both his Funeral Arranging and Administration, & Funeral Directing qualifications, making him the most qualified funeral director in Weston-super-Mare. He has also recently joined the British Institute of Funeral Directors. The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
