Who and where we are? Phillip Emery Funeral Directors are a unique and caring family-run business, who pride themselves in delivering a first class, personal funeral service to the Rugeley and the surrounding community. Our premises are situation at Bedford House, 15 Bow Street, Rugeley WS15 2BT (right on the main road, circling the town centre, between the Police Station and the Bus Station)

Dedicated and experienced, personal service for all Father and son team, Michael & Phillip, are dedicated and professional Funeral Directors, with nearly 50 years of experience in the industry between them. Michael's son, Phillip, started working in the profession at the age of 16 and gained his qualifications as an Embalmer in 1994. He then spent 9 years working for one of the largest Funeral Company's, at that time, as a Funeral Director, then a further 2 years after that, working for a private and family-run Funeral Directors, before establishing his own business in his home town of Rugeley. His father, Michael Emery, spent 27 years running his own business in Rugeley. After retiring, he also joined Phillip and worked for three years in the Funeral business before teaming up with Phillip for their family venture. Sandra, joined the team in 2010, bringing a further 20 years' experience in the funeral profession, to the Company. The three of them together have formed a likeminded, caring, professional, yet personal service for all the families they have helped over the years and work tirelessly to maintain the high standard for the future. As well as moving with the times and being able to accommodate all of the family's requirements, they still honour the traditional services and uphold the highest of standards and respect for your loved ones and the families who look to them for guidance and reassurance throughout the process.They are also, always available, and willing to help after the funeral has taken place and will be at hand for any help or advise you may need afterwards.

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.

1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.

2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
