Our caring and professional staff are on hand to help and guide you 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Nottinghamshire Funeral Service has an aim to help and provide a caring and dignified service for our clients whilst keeping costs to a minimal. We recognise the difficulties that are faced following bereavement, as well as the daunting prospect of arranging a funeral. To make the process as easy as possible for you, we created our inclusive low cost funeral packages. These packages are designed to include everything you need for a funeral to take place at an affordable price. This means you do not have to make lots of decisions which would affect the cost of the funeral. When we make funeral arrangements with you, our qualified staff will talk to you about the person who has passed away, what their wishes and beliefs were, and what you would like for them in order to make their funeral a special and memorable event reflecting their life. We are here to help, guide and support you every day if that is needed; nothing is too much trouble for us. Whatever the time, day or night, if you need us, we’re here to help. We can talk in the comfort of your own home or, if you prefer to come to us, we’ll make you feel welcome in our premises.

Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements £498.00
Collecting and transporting the deceased person from the place of death (normally within 15 miles of the funeral director’s premises) into the funeral director’s care £250.00

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.

1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.

2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
