Hickton Family Funeral Directors (Kidderminster & Stourport) Our funeral home in Kidderminster opened in Spring 2023 following the semi-retirement of Keith W. Boraston, whose funeral business was located in the building prior to the Hickton family stepping in to take over. This branch funeral home is located on Lisle Avenue, which is located in Kidderminster but not far from Stourport and Wyre Forest Crematorium. Our funeral home has two viewing rooms, along with private arrangement meeting rooms and display areas. Rest assured your loved ones will be cared for and prepared at our funeral home in Kidderminster. We also have a large private car parking area along with headstones on display. From this location, we are able to serve all areas local to Kidderminster including, Stourport, Bewdley, Cookley, Hartlebury, Wyre Forest and all the surrounding villages. At the time of our opening the funeral home in Kidderminster after Keith Boraston handed us over the goodwill this statement was released to ensure previous families and the public are aware of the change of name- Keith W Boraston, established funeral director of Kidderminster for the past fifteen years has taken the steps to begin his semi-retirement and pass the business over to another family owned funeral business for the day to day running. Keith has taken great pride and judgment in decided who should carry on his good work in the community, and Hickton Family Funeral Directors have agreed to step in. Keith will be available, on request, to look after families if they request him to be present on the day of the funeral. The running and day to day operations of the business will be done by Hickton Family Funeral Directors and their trained staff. Hicktons are an established funeral business which dates back to 1909, currently in its fourth generation of family ownership. The company has a number of funeral homes across the area to help serve all communities. Rest assured all of the good work Keith has done over the past fifteen years will be upheld, and the Hickton family will carry on the business to the standards set.
