Serving the community and beyond, in their time of great need George Ball and Son, an independent family run funeral directors, has for five generations been serving the community and beyond, in their time of great need. Today, run by Margaret Arnison (nee Ball), her son Daniel, his wife Rachel and funeral directors Nick Luty and Paul Roberts, we offer a full range of traditional and alternative funeral services and free, comprehensive funeral planning advice. We comply with the Code of Practice as set down by the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and National Society of Allied & Independent Funeral Directors (SAIF) of whom we are members. Our Vehicles We are pleased to be able to offer our Jaguar Hearse and Limousine, which were built to our specification and supplied by Wilcox & Co (Limousines) Ltd in January 2018. We take great pride in their presentation and they are carefully prepared for each funeral and fully maintained in order to supply you with prestigious vehicles. Our limousine can carry a maximum of 7 passengers (including children). We are able to arrange additional limousines, horse-drawn hearses and other vehicles on request

The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
