We have over the years paid attention to our customer needs and have adapted our companies to provide an up to date and at times traditional service for our families. Sean understands that his customers are the most important basis to our company and that “we are only as good as our last funeral”. By believing this quote it motivates us to continually provide a service that is second to none. The name Healy has over the many years became associated with the term of a quality Funeral Director. The first office of Healy's was on the Springfield Road. This was where Sean was born in the 1970's. He learnt from his father, from a very young age, about how a family should be treated at the time of a Death. As he grew up, he realised that with Death came great responsibility. To be trusted with the responsibility of carrying out the last wishes of a love one is in a way a great honour. Healy's also had at this time a Garage at the corner of Springfield Avenue / Forfar Street where all their vehicles were kept. Throughout the years Healy's were always in the Heart of their community. In 1992, Healy's relocated to 252-254 Falls Road. This changed the way of the traditional wake for the community as Healy's were able to provide an option of a Funeral Home. Families then could decide to have the benefit of a wake (still in the community) but without the stress of a wake at home. For what at the time was new, today it is very popular. This was when Sean's presence in the company became more prevalent. Funeral's in general changed. People had started to become more involved with individualising their loved one's funeral. Over the years we have seen many changes, with flowers, order of services, non- religious services etc. In 2005 Sean left his fathers business and decided to go it alone. Along with hard work and great support from the community, he built the business Healybrothers. Sadly, in August 2012, Sean's father passed away. After this he decided to purchase his fathers company D.Healy & Sons in order to keep its existence. Now today, along with the help of his committed team, he has returned his fathers company to the great company it was and, in a way, saved a bit of history for many in the local community. Today Sean now has strived to have the best funeral homes, best funeral fleet, best staff and as always, the best funeral service provider.
