L. J. Crawley and Sons, Nottingham

extremely dedicated family run company based in Nottingham. We cover the City of Nottingham as well as All surrounding areas. We offer an unrivalled level of care, support, understanding and advice

Our service to you starts from the very first time you contact us, whether by telephone or calling in to our branch, extending often way beyond the day of the funeral. On initial contact we will ask for preliminary details, where upon if the deceased has died at home or in a private nursing home we will advise the conveyance of the deceased to our private chapel. We would then ask, at a time and place convenient for the family, for the funeral director to call and arrange the funeral to a manner that meets the needs and requirements of those concerned. Contrary to popular belief, it is possible to begin making funeral arrangements before the death has been registered. To register a death, it is necessary to attend the Register Office in the area in which the death has occurred: registration must take place within 5 days. Please note that most Register Offices operate on an appointment only basis. Funeral arrangements are usually made by attending our office, where a comfortable and private arranging room is available. It is not necessary to make an appointment, though advance notice of your attendance enables us to have refreshments and any necessary documents ready for you. If for any reason you are unable to come to our office, please contact us and we will make arrangements to visit you in the comfort of your own home.
