Lymn The Family Funeral Service are here to help you when you need us most, by providing a high standard of service and care, ensuring we are there for the families we serve through every step of the funeral process. One of our qualified staff is ready to talk with you at any time We are available to discuss your own personal requirements 24 hours a day, 7 days a week through our network of 27 Offices serving Nottinghamshire and South Derbyshire. The office, known as The Old Farm, is located in one of the oldest buildings in Mansfield Woodhouse, a former farmhouse that has recently been completely refurbished. It is set in lovely rural surroundings and has a beautiful service chapel, family rooms, visiting rooms, cold room facilities, washing facilities for specific funeral rites, plenty of parking and a full fleet of hearse and limousines. Cyril Welsh Funeral Directors, who previously had offices at the premises, was incorporated by the A W Lymn group. The branch has most of our north Nottingham fleet on site, including a Rolls-Royce Phantom VII hearse and matching limousines. Jonathan Baker is the area manager and the office is staffed by funeral directors Andy Askew, Stacey Burman (who is currently on maternity leave) and funeral arranger Wendy Walker who will be more than pleased to assist you during our office hours which are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5pm and on Saturday from 9 am to 12.30 pm. If you need assistance outside of these hours, please call our telephone number at any time and the office can be opened for you at your convenience. The branch serves all of Mansfield Woodhouse and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond. The funeral director can give you a full list of what they can supply. They are likely to charge for these additional products and services, so you may choose to take care of some arrangements without their involvement, or you can use a different supplier.
1. This fee (which is sometimes called the interment fee) is the charge made for digging and closing a new grave, or for reopening and closing an existing grave.
2. In England, Wales and Northern Ireland, you will usually need to pay doctors’ fees as well. This is the charge for two doctors to sign the Medical Certificates for Cremation.
