Rebecca, our founder, dedicates the concept of
The Farewell Guide
to her Auntie Kathy. After the tragic loss of her Aunt, she helped her young family navigate this awful time. It allowed Rebecca to witness first hand the difficulties of dealing with a funeral, finances and family grief. The process of organising a funeral had to be changed, and this is how The Farewell Guide was born. “Kathy lit up so many people’s lives. This tool will help thousands of families through the toughest moments of their lives: celebrating those that have lived, and creating lasting legacies for future generations. For every family that The Farewell Guide helps, my hope is that a part of my auntie’s spirit continues to shine through.”
In loving memory of Kathleen Kenny

Organising a funeral
during a time of grief can be very overwhelming. It can cause lots of stress and give rise to disagreements between families and friends left behind.
Using The Farewell Guide funeral planner helps you navigate through the process, outlining clearly which decisions need to be made and offering suggestions if you're not sure making sure your loved one gets the send-off that is right for them.
Our planner guides you through the funeral planning process and you can share with others for their input.
Using The Farewell Guide
easy-to-use funeral planner
will bring together your wishes and ensure your loved one is remembered exactly as they should be.
What song do you want played, are you up for a party or moment of reflection? Do you want their bestie from work to say a few words? If so what would you like them to read? Share their favourite photos. Upload important information, notes and more.
We’ve made the
funeral planning
experience as simple as we could with guides and info. It's something you can do alone or with friends and family.
Once you are clear on the funeral which is right for you and your family, you need to find the best funeral director partner who can deliver your wishes. Via The Farewell Guide, you can search for funeral directors close to you and submit your plan to them. They will come back to you with a quote, and with them, you can decide whether or not they are the right director for you and your family.
