Legacy of Lives is thrilled to announce that Ann Kenrick OBE has joined the Legacy of Lives team as Head of Partnerships.
Ann has valuable first-hand experience in the end-of-life sector and currently is a Non-Exec and volunteer at St Christopher's Hospice, a regular facilitator of Death Cafes, speaker and influencer on the value of planning ahead. Ann is also a trustee at the Barbican Centre Trust, a former Chair of the London Cycling Campaign and spent over ten years at leading tech company IBM. After twenty years as Secretary-General of the Franco-British Council, Ann became the first female Master/CEO in the 400-year history of the Charterhouse, a charity that provides care and housing to older people in need. Whilst at the Charterhouse Ann was awarded the Freedom of the City of London for developing partnerships with key local stakeholders and engaging with the local community's needs.
We are delighted to have Ann join the team and look forward to her contribution to our growth and working with us to improve end-of-life planning for all.
Ann Kenrick: "I am delighted to join the team and support the valuable work of Legacy of Lives. In my experience many people now have a real hunger to talk and think about planning for the inevitable. With the rise in the cost of dying as well as the cost of living there has never been a better time to support people to navigate the challenges of organising the right funeral."
